BIM Modeller - Cape Town Central at MECS (Pty) Ltd

Responsibilities:

• Lead the modelling team to ensure that project deliverables are met in accordance with specifications and quality standards.
• Able to model using the following collaborative software tools:
• Bentley Suite - Microstation, AECOSIM, ProjectWise or AutoDesk Suite – Civil 3D, Navisworks, BIM 360, Revit as well as reinforcement packages such as CADS RC

Develop and interpret Bridge and Civil Structural modelling and designs including:

• Bridge and Culverts, clash detection and modelling for highways structures.
• Reinforcement detailing of structural elements in CADS RC
• Civil structures modeling in Revit or AECOSIM
• Interact and coordinate with other disciplines using NAVIS works or ITWIN.

Qualifications and Relevant Experience:

• Competent with structural engineering modeling using either AutoDesk Suite and Bentley related Bentley software
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in modelling of civil structures
• Minimum 3 years’ managing a project team.
• EE candidate preferred.
