    BIM Specialist Software Consultant

    Job description

    • Baker Baynes is an authorized Autodesk partner and provides Computer-Aided design products and related services to industry experts, helping them to design a better world. We are located in Sunninghill, Sandton and are looking to add the skills of a dynamic BIM specialist and software consultant to join our team. 

    The efficient BIM specialist and software consultant should have the following experience and qualifications:

    • Architectural Diploma or Degree
    • Minimum 3 years working experience
    • Architecture and built environment industry knowledge and working experience
    • Product knowledge of BIM software solutions and working experience with, Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks
    • Knowledge of Autodesk BIM 360, Dynamo and Scan to BIM workflows will be beneficial

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following areas:

    • Analyse the client’s business to create a demonstration experience that is customized to the stated business needs, objectives, and questions of the customer audience.
    • Provide software implementation services and leadership to help drive successful adoption of Autodesk product solutions and BIM based workflows
    • Consult on projects to create BIM execution plan/s,
    • Implementation of a common data environment and digital coordination
    • Develop, schedule and manage BIM implementations
    • Deliver engaging, informative, well- organized presentations, including hosting webinars
    • Provide customized beginner to advance level software training
    • Build client relationships through ongoing engagement and technical support
    • Create BIM content
