Job Description

• We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Bin Press Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the bin pressing section. The role includes supervising staff, maintaining equipment, managing bale creation and documentation, and ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12, Technical school an advantage
• 2–3 years in a warehouse or production environment
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Forklift license & Health/Safety training beneficial
• Experience with Talman or similar systems

Key Skills:

• Strong leadership & communication
• Technical knowledge of press machinery
• Attention to detail in documentation
• Computer literacy (e.g., Talman, ESS)
• Problem-solving under pressure

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise bin press operators and bale markers
• Maintain and inspect equipment
• Ensure accurate bale creation across departments
• Control costs, labour, and material usage
• Monitor team performance, attendance, and discipline
• Meet daily/weekly production and quality targets
• Enforce safety protocols and cleanliness

• Daily and weekly bale production targets achieved
• Equipment uptime and safety compliance
• Accuracy in bale documentation
• Labour cost control
• Timely and correct job card information
• Staff attendance and leave management compliance
• Fibre flow and bin press floor efficiency
