In this position the Gas Blender is responsible for preparing, checking and confirming gas mixtures according to specifications whilst adhering to Air Liquide safety standards.
- Prepare gas mixtures according to required specifications, efficiently and punctually following blending method indicated by Facility Managers
- Check and confirm calculations for gas mixtures
- Follow Air Liquide Quality Assurance procedures
- Strictly adhere to all Air Liquide safety rules and regulations
Educational requirements
- Education: Matric with Maths and Science plus CHEMOPS
Experience
- 1 year experience in a production plant
- Knowledge and Know-how specific to the job
- Knowledge of Technical/Production environment
- Knowledge of Gases or Gas properties
- Able to do basic calculations
