KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Locating buried utilities on a variety of sites using electromagnetic locators and ground penetrating radars;
Assisting surveyors during mapping of buried utilities;
Office annotations on provisional survey plans before final utility draughting;
Quality control over final utility drawings;
Preparation of services location reports.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD:
Have a minimum of three years’ experience in the use of electromagnetic locators and ground penetrating radars
Be registered with the South African Geomatics Council (SAGC)
Have Knowledge of surveying and/or draughting (added advantage) Have a valid code 8 (EB) driver’s license;
Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Have the ability to work independently
Have good communication skills
Have good people skills
Be prepared to work away from home
