Bosch Munitech – Underground Utilities Detection Technician at Bosch Holdings (Pty) Ltd

KEY  RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Locating buried utilities on a variety of sites using electromagnetic locators and ground penetrating radars;

• Assisting surveyors during mapping of buried utilities;

• Office annotations on provisional survey plans before final utility draughting;

• Quality control over final utility drawings;

• Preparation of services location reports.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD:

• Have a minimum of three years’ experience in the use of electromagnetic locators and ground penetrating radars

• Be registered with the South African Geomatics Council (SAGC)

• Have Knowledge of surveying and/or draughting (added advantage) Have a valid code 8 (EB) driver’s license;

• Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)

• Have the ability to work independently

• Have good communication skills

• Have good people skills

• Be prepared to work away from home
