Bottle Feeder (Temp) at RCL Foods

• As a leading player in the Food Manufacturing industry, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and making a positive impact. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Bottle Feeder at our RCL FOODS BEVERAGES operating unit.

Minimum Requirements   

• Grade 12/ NQF 4 equivalent qualification
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience.

Knowledge

• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Storage area control
• Safety Health and Environmental aspects
• Cycle counting and reconciliation
• Stock rotation (FIFO)

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Ensure correct packaging material and palletising requirements are available daily on time.
• Check that all safety mechanisms are in working condition
• Check that machine and conveyors are clean and free from foreign matter
• Report all non-conforming product / packaging to supervisor and QC for investigation
• Record and report machine failures or stoppages to Supervisor in order to action maintenance staff by means of Job card
• Ensure machine runs at rated speed and minimise waste to meet planned requirement.
• Carry out operational quality checks as per checklist during production
• Ensure that the Clean as You Go Principle is always followed
• Ensure all required production records are correctly captured, signed off and filed daily.
