Branch / Assistant Branch Manager - Timber Industry -Southern Suburbs at West Coast Personnel

• An established hardware and timber business, supplying and processing timber and board products, is seeking an experienced Branch Manager / Assistant Branch Manager to manage its Southern Suburbs operation.
• The role is responsible for the effective management of retail, warehouse and production operations, including staff leadership, stock control, customer order fulfilment and general branch performance.

Salary: Market Related
Benefits: Provident Fund after 6 months
Key Responsibilities

• Manage retail, warehouse and production staff.
• Lead a team of 20+ employees.
• Plan production and ensure customer deadlines are met.
• Maintain stock, quality standards and production records.
• Oversee warehouse operations and dispatch.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and servicing.
• Maintain OHS compliance and housekeeping standards.
• Coach and develop staff.
• Manage general operational and administrative functions.
• Participate as a member of the management team.

Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Minimum 5 years' Branch Management experience.
• Experience managing 20+ employees.
• Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Experience in timber, woodworking, hardware, shopfitting, engineering, packaging, printing, metal or plastics environments preferred.
• Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving ability.
• Good operational and people-management skills.
• OHS knowledge.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Good English communication skills.
