Reporting to the National Sales & Marketing Manager you will be required to manage the Durban/KZN regional branch’s overall performance by employing Capital and Human resources to achieve above-average returns for the region. The company manufactures products for the construction, automotive, mining and general secondary industries. General Management experience is essential as you will be managing a workforce of more than 40 staff that include a high percentage of technical staff.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12/ or equivalent qualification
Technikon/or B Degree or business/commercial qualification preferable
+10 years of working experience at the middle management level, in a manufacturing environment with a strong Sales and Marketing focus and mindset.
GENERAL MANAGEMENT experience essential.
General Management skills
Sales and Marketing skills are crucial.
Financial & Production Controls (Inventory, Cash, Debtors, Creditors), Logistics, SHEQ and Human Resources.
Strong technical and operational acumen
Proficient in customer relations
Proficient in MS Office & Syspro or equivalent ERP system
People skills, including managing a diverse workforce an essential attribute.
