    Brand Assistant - Consumer and OTC

    To assist Brand Managers across all portfolios within the Consumer & OTC divisions to drive sustainable, market share and profitable growth of the product portfolios and as per business requirements.

    MAIN DUTIES:

    • Achieve revenue, profit and market share growths for the respective portfolios
    • Tasks to be executed in line with business targets and profitability
    • Forecasting accuracy and stock management which entails minimizing stock write-off costs and returns
    • Managing wholesalers’ stock holding, backorders and short dated stock
    • Track and measure market, competitive, and business performance, feeding into marketing/sales meetings and business review meetings; assist with compiling presentations
    • Execute and action finance dashboard and commentary.
    • Ad hoc requirements to develop and execute annual brand plans in order to achieve business goals
    • Implementation, monitoring and measurement of the success of the developed strategies and to ensure that they are flexible to adapt to a dynamic environment
    • Administrative tasks relating New Product Launch process together with the relevant stakeholders like NPL, Demand Planning, Regulatory Affairs, Medical and others
    • Manage Veeva approvals and submissions as well as Agency communication on promotional material
    • Provide input creative direction for brand/ portfolios strategies and manage Agency outcomes
    • Approvals of Promotional material according to procurement process. Allocation to respective sales resources as well as follow up on receipt.
    • Assist with flawless execution; marketing plans, product launches, artwork upgrades and any other changes through effective cross functional operation
    • Assist with allocation and monitoring of promotional material
    • Track and assess A&P monthly for key brands
    • Liaise with relevant functions in the business to maintain supply of allocated products to market, ensuring efficient stock levels and sales forecasts are met
    • Comply to all SOP’s and codes relevant to marketing
    • Analysis of the all the sales channels across the portfolio. Cross functional collaboration across all sales channels to gain credible insights.
    • Fulfil all administrative requirements if needed for respective brands
    • Analysing pricing structure vs competitors as well as reimbursement across portfolio’s.
    • Continuously communicate with and support the sales teams with high levels of integrity and urgency to help them achieve sales targets
    • Preparation requirements for Conference as per set out criteria.
    • Sense of urgency in resolution of customer queries

    QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

    • Matric
    • Relevant Post matric Marketing/Health Science qualification
    • Minimum 1 year Pharmaceutical marketing/sales experience.
    • Applicable industry knowledge.
    • Financial literacy
    • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
    • Ability to work on Qlikview models is advantageous
