    Brand Development Manager: Archive

    This position requires a high-energy, self-motivated individual with strong people management skills and the ability to develop and manage key strategic partnerships. The successful applicant must be comfortable with working in a fast paced environment and be results-driven. 

    As a Brand Development Manager, your key responsibilities will be: 

    • Build the brand CI document that will guide Archive into 2021 and beyond. Obsess and document the current and intended Archive consumer. Build and evolve the Archive brand tone and aesthetic + ensure it is embedded within all touch points of the brand (stores, people, design, content creation and ecommerce). 
    • Work with the digital brand team and external partners where needed to create, lead and brief content in requirements for creative content across chosen channels. 
    • Own the Archive collaboration journey. Source and build suitable brand relationship for collaboration across various mediums in product form. 
    • Own the marketing journey for Archive apparel own brand across all consumer journey touch points. 
    • Ownership and evolution for seasonal own brand campaigns. Ownership of the agency relationship and evolution of this function. 
    • Budget management for content creation and production, influencer and various marketing strategies. 
    • Work closely and collaborate with product and design & trend forecasting teams to constantly evolve the ARCHIVE brand position.
    • Reporting of all above KPI’s on a monthly basis to management teams. 

    To apply you need to be/ have:

    • A relevant tertiary qualification
    • Minimum 3-4 years working experience at a management level, incl. people / team management.
    • Minimum 6 years relevant retail / brand experience is essential
    • Proven track record in building and maintaining brands
    • Proven track record managing social media communities and creating branded content.
    • Creative “hands on” experience in relevant fashion, culture and product is advantageous 
    • Ability to persuade and influence both internal and external stakeholders
    • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver to aggressive deadlines, incl. problem solving
    • Strong written and verbal communication at all levels of organisation
    • Proven leadership and people management ability
    • Creative experience in fashion or art a definite plus.
