    Brand Manager

We have a perfect opportunity for you. An opportunity has become available in our marketing team for a Brand Manager.

    Responsibilities:

    • Development of @Home brand strategy & CI implementation
    • Work with Head of Marketing to develop the brand strategy
    • Liaise with stakeholders to develop the marketing calendar
    • Responsible for aligning the integrated marketing calendar
    • Developing, drive and ensure implementation of brand strategy
    • Drive the marketing of the main @Home strategic levers

    Drive key partner relationships

    • Driving the marketing of @Home strategic levers
    • Initiating projects
    • Effectively monitor progress of processes and tasks
    • Manage department traffic and deadlines
    • Implement & enforce CI for customer facing @Home brand
    • Contribute to the Refreshing of @Home brand elements in-line with CI
    • Manage the brand identity consistently through all communication channels
    • Review work critically
    • Ability to challenge the status quo demonstrated
    • Identify opportunities for brand co-ops

    Events / Events Management and Sponsorships

    • Develop & implement cross-brand campaign opportunities
    • Continue to build on the success of existing brand campaigns
    • Identify & drive new cross-brand campaign opportunities
    • Drive collaboration with brands, e-com, rewards and other stakeholders

    Deliver integrated campaigns

    • Management of corporate social media channels
    • Participate in the develop of strategy & communication plan for all @Home social pages
    • Provide input in driving positive engagement on all platforms

    Market & Campaign Analysis

    • Competitor Analysis with Head of Marketing
    • Promo analysis/review
    • Monitor the retail landscape
    • Research of marketing trends, specifically in the digital portfolio and share with the department

    Communication and relationship management

    • Manage client communication activity
    • Manage agency/ supplier relationship, briefs & communication
    • Share brand vision and identity with the team & stakeholders

    Budget and planning

    • Responsible for the management of allocated budgets
    • Effectively use allocated funds to ensure maximum exposure for the brand
    • Control the budget through invoice sign off and loading
    • Obtained and negotiated quotes where required

    Requirements:

    • Professionally qualified and experienced specialist
    • 3 – 5 years’ experience
       

    Competencies and behaviours for success:

    • Have the ability to persuade and influence
    • Creativity
    • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Good presentation and communication skills
    • Strong administrative skills
    • A self-starter proactive team player with strong organizational and prioritization skills
    • Retail industry intelligence knowledge would be a plus
    • Experience of retail marketing would also be a bonus

    Preference will be given, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act.
