Job Summary

• This role involves selling and advising clients on medical insurance and medical aid products, with a strong emphasis on sales performance and client education. Candidates with insurance branch experience and an agricultural background will be well-suited due to client profile demands.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Sell and promote medical insurance and medical aid solutions
• Conduct needs assessments and guide clients through benefit options
• Handle new applications, upgrades, and member support
• Drive new business acquisition and meet monthly sales targets
• Assist with claims queries and liaise with providers
• Manage relationships with agricultural and rural clients
• Stay updated on healthcare legislation and product changes

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• Relevant degree / qualification
• Strong proven sales experience (insurance branch exposure preferred)
• Agricultural experience or relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
• RE5 qualification (advantageous)
• Knowledge of medical insurance / medical aid products
• Excellent communication skills, especially in simplifying complex benefits
• High customer service orientation and strong administration skills
