The Opportunity:

We are looking for a business analyst to join our professional services team. This role is responsible for translating business requirements into a specification that the dev team can work from. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with customers. Within electrum you will work closely with the dev teams to ensure requirements are well understood

For this role, you will engage directly with our customers to agree on and document requirements. You will also work closely with development team leads, product owners, and project managers so good communication and collaboration skills are essential. You will play a key role in helping ensure that the end product meets requirements by supporting requirement validation in the testing cycle.

Your responsibilities will include the following

• Working with the customer to understand and document requirements (requirements elicitation and specification)

• Working with technical leads to understand API integrations (message flows, error handling and field mappings)

• Create test pack to be executed by development team

• Verify test results and ensuring customer requirements are satisfied

We work using agile methodologies, so experience in writing traditional requirements documents for customers as well as user stories for dev teams is important. Together with an understanding of the SDLC in agile teams.

Requirements

What you’ll need:

• 3+ years experience as a business analyst or similar role

• A university degree

• Strong analytical thinking

• Experience in working with API specifications and integrations

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

• Team player

• Attention to detail

• Self-managing

Increase your odds by having:

• A BA certification

• Experience in the payments space

• Experience working in agile development teams
