Job Purpose

• This position is responsible to ensure data management governance for Group Finance.

Job Responsibilities

• Creating and enforcing policies for effective data management:
• Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of data.
• Devising and implementing efficient and secure procedures for data management and analysis: Pay attention to all technical aspects.
• Establishing data sharing rules: Support others in the daily use of data systems.
• Monitoring and analyzing information and data systems:
• Troubleshoot data-related problems, and ensure data security and integrity.
• Analyzing financial data to identify trends:
• Make recommendations to upper management.
• Collaborating with other bank business divisions:
• Develop and implement strategies for growth and profitability.
• Assessing risk and identifying potential issues: 
• Implement solutions to mitigate them

Formal Qualification

• A bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, maths, finance, business, or a related field.
• Formal data management qualification like DAMA

Experience

• >3 years Data Management
• 1-3 years Banking or Financial Services
• Financial Knowledge
