    Business Development Executive

    The Business Development Executive is responsible for meeting sales targets and maximising sales of products and services with focus on the Corporate sector. The Business Development Executive is responsible for providing excellent customer service, building positive business relationships and working with sales staff to ensure that any agreements/commitments are delivered with an appropriate time frame.

    Specification

    • Build relationship with Corporate end customer & resellers
    • Identify new sales leads and cold call on customers
    • Identify market segments and design a sales strategy to fit each segment.
    • Researching the needs of target companies and liaising with influencers about purchasing decisions.
    • Make regular contact with customers to ensure the development of strong relationships and ensure the delivery of excellent customer service
    • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
    • Contacting clients to inform them about new product & service developments in the company.
    • Prepare quotes and proposals
    • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations.
    • Negotiating at C level in organisations.
    • Gather market and customer information and providing feedback on future buying trends.
    • Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.
    • Learn and retain product specific information as it pertains to the position.

    Requirements    

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric
    • Tertiary Diploma/Degree will be an advantage
    • Min of 5 years sales experience
    • Relevant sales and marketing qualifications will be advantageous
    • Valid Driver's License

    • Exceptional selling skills
    • Building Customer Loyalty
    • Must be a people’s person
    • Communication and listening are vital for this roll
    • IT fluency is very important
    • Negotiation skills are very important to close deals
    • Presentation Skills
    • Socially adapt & web savvy
    • Good with numbers
    • Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems
    • In depth knowledge of the industry and its current events
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Attention to detail
    • Excellent time management and organisation
