    Business Development Manager

    • A leading specialised financial services provider is looking for a high-performing Dealmaker to join its growing Working Capital Solutions team.
    • This is a pure hunter role suited to a commercially driven sales professional with a passion for originating and closing corporate funding transactions. The successful candidate will focus on acquiring new business opportunities across invoice discounting, trade finance, purchase order finance, stock finance, and broader working capital solutions.
    • You’ll engage directly with CFOs, Financial Directors, and business owners, structuring tailored funding solutions that help businesses unlock cash flow and drive growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive new business acquisition within the working capital and invoice finance space
    • Identify, engage, and convert prospective clients into long-term partnerships
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with CFOs, FDs, and business owners
    • Present tailored funding solutions aligned to client cash flow requirements
    • Develop and leverage introducer and referral networks to grow pipeline activity
    • Consistently exceed sales and revenue targets
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and execution

    Requirements:

    • BCom degree in Finance, Marketing, or related field
    • 2–5 years’ experience within trade finance, working capital, or corporate lending
    • Strong understanding of invoice discounting and structured working capital solutions advantageous
    • Proven track record in business development and solution-based sales within financial services
    • Strong negotiation, presentation, and deal-closing ability
    • Resilient, commercially minded, and target driven
