Sales Development in the industrial and commercial refrigeration market
Manages internal sales staff, plans, organises and implements sales strategy & tactics, and operational processes; is responsible for achieving sales and profitability objectives and related goals; identifies prospective customers & direct activities of staff and compiles information on competitors’ activities and competitive products.
Responsible for generation and following up leads for new business opportunities and for organising special product training events. Assists with evaluation of products and services in marketing. Responsible for key accounts on a national basis regarding product/service offerings, promotion, prices, delivery. May assist regional sales managers at regional offices.
PREFERRED MINIMUM EDUCATION
University degree: in Mechanical Engineering otherwise Business Sciences, Marketing/Sales, including having technical refrigeration subject matter expertise and understanding re supply chain, logistics and finance fundamentals
PREFERRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
Full competence in this role would typically be developed over 5-7 years of experience in sales management. Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements. Extensive experience in all aspects of Supplier /Customer Relationship Management and Technical Refrigeration Expertise.
CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of and experience in the industrial and commercial refrigeration industry is critical to this role.
