    Business Growth Lead

    Your Role:

    • As a Business Growth Lead, you will be at the forefront of our sales initiatives, leveraging your hunting skills to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities both locally and internationally. You will be responsible for:
    • Proactively prospecting and generating leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
    • Cultivating strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
    • Demonstrating our software solutions to showcase their value and relevance to potential clients.
    • Collaborating closely with our marketing and product teams to tailor solutions to meet client needs.
    • Negotiating contracts and closing deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    • Providing exceptional post-sales support to foster long-term partnerships and drive customer satisfaction.

    What You Bring:

    • Proven Sales Success: You have a track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth, ideally within the software or technology sector for retail;
    • Hunter Mentality: You possess exceptional hunting skills and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
    • Local and Global Outlook: You have experience selling in Sub-Saharan Africa and possibly internationally, with a keen interest in expanding your sales reach beyond local markets.
    • Strategic Thinker: You are a strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, devise effective sales strategies, and execute with precision.
    • Exceptional Communication: Your communication skills are second to none, allowing you to articulate complex solutions with clarity and confidence.
    • Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and excel at building strong relationships both internally and externally.

    Requirements

    Your skills and experience include

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
    • Proven track record of minimum 4 years of IT solutions sales experience
    • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
    • A strong track record in meeting business targets

    Knowledge

    • Has in-depth commercial and technical expertise, often in a variety of environments
    • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, particularly in selling software solutions
    • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Self-motivated with a drive for continuous learning and improvement
    • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Bitrix) is a plus
    • Good knowledge of system/retail industry  best practices and standards
