We work with studios across the globe - from Addis Ababa to Sofia to New York City - to level up their games and scale in dynamic, frontier markets. In addition to our full-stack publishing service, we’ve built a proprietary payments and ecommerce experience which allows customers to pay for digital content, even when they don’t have a credit card.

As BI Lead you’ll be responsible for all things data at Carry1st, organising our data and building end-end data solutions that generate impactful insights. Our games reach millions of users daily, so you’ll have the opportunity to play with data at scale, bringing together sources from multiple platforms. You’ll work closely with our product and engineering teams to identify and implement opportunities to optimize engagement, retention, and revenue. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Informing and designing our data architecture - consolidating information from multiple sources to build end-end data solutions and actionable insights

• Using the latest technologies to transform raw data into real-time dashboards that empower teams to make fact-based decisions

• Proactively monitoring the performance of the game and new features to inform product changes and features, and validate product assumptions

• Building and maintaining relationships with product management, game design, growth teams and external partners to understand analytical requirements

• Collaborating with engineers to improve our data and analytics infrastructure

Requirements

What makes you a great candidate?

• 5+ years of relevant experience in data engineering or analytics roles

• Experience building data pipelines, including data streaming, batch processing, data lakes, and data warehouses in AWS

• Skilled in data querying and retrieval from a data warehouse for visualization; comfortable with accompanying tools such as Tableau

• Experience with different programming languages (e.g. SQL/R/Python/Scala)

• Proven ability to work with products from concept stage

• Bonus: experience working in F2P mobile gaming industry
