Business Judgemental Credit Manager (Asset Based Finance) at WesBank

Job Description

• To evaluate, manage and approve complex credit risk within area of responsibility by providing advice, recommendations and support to internal stakeholders through the implementation of group credit mandates, risk frameworks and methodologies.
• To provide coaching and mentoring to relevant internal (Business Judgemental Credit Manager I) and external teams (Relationship Managers).

Are you someone who can:

• Conduct complex and quality credit assessments and risk analysis on potential and existing clients to enhance the decision-making process involved in determining the Bank’s appetite to extend credit to these clients
• Drive customer service delivery goal achievement in line with predefined standards and in support of operational objectives
• Adhere to First Rand’s Risk Management System credit requirements
• Manage credit risk at origination on an ongoing basis
• Drive customer service delivery goal achievement in line with predefined standards and in support of operational objectives

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

• Have a Post Graduate Diploma/Degree in Finance with +7 years' experience in Credit
• Experience with individual credit mandate
• Asset Based Finance/ Dealer Funding / floorplans credit experience
