Business Research Associate at Woodbridge

Core responsibilities include:

• Identify buyers in both core and related industries globally
• Source contact information for potential buyers
• Research client industries by gathering information about trends, transactions and competitors
• Research using a variety of databases, online trade resources and google searches
• Assist in finding correct contact, email, LinkedIn for each hot list company
• Combine lists from all sources, remove duplicates and prepare for client review
• Contribute to Woodbridge’s overall marketing-driven process
• Please note that while this role does require strong numeracy skills, it does not include financial analysis or modelling.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1 to 3yrs experience
• A critical and creative thinker, with innate curiosity & a passion for data search
• Detail-oriented
• Strong verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Must already live in Cape Town!
•  Strong skills in MS Office Suite (Especially Excel)
• Efficient

Desirable:

• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM platform
• Knowledge of S&P Capital IQ, Hoovers, Pitchbook, IbisWorld or other business research tools.
