Business Systems Analyst - Commercial at The Coca-Cola Company

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will be responsible for deployment and implementation of systems and company best practice business processes, as part of local country deployments. Further responsibility includes maintenance and sustainability of ERP systems and business process implementations including other systems components.

Key Duties & Responsibilities    

• Partnering with business to improve, develop, update and deploy best practice processes for a specific. functional area into CCBA, including management routines and ongoing maintenance to ensure sustainability.
• Knowing and understanding the business and impact of key business decisions on the organisation at large.
• Ensuring end to end integration of business processes within a specific area of expertise.
• Ensuring local tax, legal and statutory requirements and business benefits are understood deployed and implemented.
• Ensuring appropriate sign-off, documentation and storage of business relevant processes, architecture designs, business policies and guidelines, etc. relevant to the functional area and system (including training material).
• Defining and evaluating of business requirements within a functional area, aligned to key strategic priorities.
• Evaluating, scoping and selection of suitable IT solutions in partnership with business to meet requirements in line with Group standards.
• Providing support in testing and deployment of suitable solutions.
• Updating or creating business systems documentation as changes or additions occur.
• Entrenching solutions to ensure a return on investment in partnership with relevant stakeholders and change management.
• Gathering and updating the content of data objects and support purification activities and the definition of relevant business data conditions / requirements.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities and tools within the functional process area (including new ERP solutions) to improve efficiencies, reduce costs and/or increase business value.
• Driving adherence to the standardized business processes throughout the group.
• Networking with Industry leaders, The Coca Cola Company, vendors, etc. to keep abreast of trends and best practices and thereby identify opportunities.
• Developing and contributing to change, communication, training and transition plans to ensure adoption of systems.
• Providing business expertise to enable the delivery of targeted change within their business area with focus on impacts of change, supporting motivation and engagement of staff and creating the targeted culture change.
• Managing and continuously assessing adoption of the solutions amongst senior business stakeholders and key users to ensure return on investment.
• Building system and process capability through on boarding, development, knowledge transfer and support to business expertise (Module Coordinators and Super Users).
• Driving business adoption through training (content development, training facilitation, training evaluation and support).
• Driving sustainability of deployed system through anchoring management routines.
• Providing expert input, as directed by project plans, for new system deployments and implementations.
• Assuring business readiness for successful system deployment.
• Providing solutions and guidance for gaps identified during system deployments.
• Anchoring new system installations and business processes, procedures and policy post implementation.
• Managing business risk and resolve or escalate major issues that impede operations, systems or any projects.
• Conducting system assessments to ensure adherence to model company processes and drive corrective measure where necessary.

Skills, Experience & Education    
Qualifications:

• Post Graduate qualifications desirable

Experience:

• 5 to 10 years business process / IT experience
• Significant expertise in large ERP / IT programmes is essential
• Proven experience in large project teams with significant integration requirements
• Ability to influence and direct teams effectively, and with the necessary attention to detail where required
• Excellent relationship building experience and demonstrable experience of operating across multiple countries
• Ability to manage complex processes across functions and business units
• Strong knowledge/understanding of Project management methodologies
• Functional knowledge – good knowledge of business issues and requirements associated with the business function
• Working with the other Functional BSA’s to analyse across the functions and identify areas of commonality and/or conflict
