Description

• The procurement of products, implementation of marketing plans, and negotiation of favorable terms and conditions to enable growth on specified categories to realize growth and achieve budget on Sales and Gross profit

Requirements

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING 

• Grade 12 or NQF level 4
• Relevant tertiary qualification

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE            

• At least 3 -5 years’ experience within a procurement and inventory management environment

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS         

• Achieve budgeted Gross Profit per category
• Achieve rebates per budget
• Achieve budgeted Turnover per category and growth on specified categories
• Achieve budgeted Net profit of AFGRI Retail
• Promotional planning and execution

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES          

• Experience in working on SAP and QlikView
• Product Knowledge on all Agricultural Products
• Advanced Micro Soft Office skills
• Good Communication skills
• Good administrative skills
• Negotiation skills
• Experience within the Retail industry
• Knowledge of Marketing and Sales principles
• Knowledge of Budgeting
