Responsibilities:

• Purchase goods and services at the right quality, quantity, time, price, and source to maximize value.
• Manage a capable and secure supply base using best procurement practices.
• Use SAP MRP data and internal input to place, expedite, and reconcile purchase orders.
• Resolve supplier payment issues and blocked invoice queries.
• Update budget, sourcing portfolio, spend, and KPI files weekly.
• Highlight supply risks and log/resolve supplier claims.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement with business goals.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and educate stakeholders on procedures.
• Utilize financial instruments like LOCs and bank guarantees to mitigate risk.

Requirements:

• BCom Degree/Diploma (SAPICS/CIPS certification advantageous).
• 3-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
• Knowledge of raw materials/steel buying (advantageous).
• Resilient, organized, and able to work under pressure.
• Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
