Job Purpose

The Business Support Division is responsible for leading innovation, and business technology services via a shared services model to business operations to enable the optimal use of digitisation, systems and processes in providing insights into new revenue and value-producing opportunities.

The C# Developer role, as part of the Business Support team, will contribute to the development & support of a web-based WMS system to meet business requirements from back-end to client-end services, with the emphasis on designing, developing and supporting applications; (.NET 3.5, C#, ASP.net, SQL server). This will be done through collaborating with the Gaming and Hospitality segments, specialised functional areas and Business technology leadership and teams with the aim of improving growth and efficiencies through the design of digital tools and analysis.

Education

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years software development experience in a professional Microsoft Windows environment using C#, Visual Studio .net and MS SQL Server
• Working knowledge of Content Management Systems. Preferably: DotNetNuke, Umbraco or Net Framework and .Net Core
• Experience in Casino Gaming environment is an advantage
• Experience with ORM frameworks including digital marketing and SEO technical

Key Performance Areas:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
• Conduct software development, including all the phases of the development life cycle (design, coding, testing, release)
• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
• Test the applications; identify bottlenecks and bugs; and document
• Conduct GAP analyses, and devise solutions to these problems using technical design
• Carry out maintenance and support of assigned systems to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Analyze and review support requests to identify problem trends
• Perform root cause analysis on problem tickets and recommend corrective solutions
• Compliance with good practice software engineering standards including version and source control, and participating in regular code reviews
• Understand and implement SEO technical best practice
