Job Description

• To monitor all areas of the SPAR property through the control room, ensuring the safety and security of the premises by detecting and reporting suspicious activity, coordinating with security personnel, and maintaining accurate incident logs in order to prevent theft and maintain a secure environment.

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• Trustworthy with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure with strong concentration
• Alert, observant, and able to react quickly and calmly in emergencies
• Discreet and able to always maintain confidentiality
• Able to work independently without supervision
• Previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage
• Clean Criminal Record  

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor all areas of SPAR property from the control room
• Coordinate with security personnel to ensure all security checks and procedures are followed
• Report any theft, suspicious activity, or security breaches to police and management promptly
• Identify and report potential safety and security risks to the appropriate parties
• Maintain detailed logs of all incidents for reporting to police or management
