Carried Interest Analyst at Robert Walters

• Our client is a leading global alternative investment manager with an international network and significant assets under management. They are seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and intelligent Carried Interest Analyst to join their team in Cape Town. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Carry monitoring team, preparing reports, supporting committee meetings, and contributing to automation and process improvements.

What you'll do:

• As a Carried Interest Analyst, you will play a crucial role within the Carry monitoring team. Your responsibilities will include recording carried interest allocations and reallocations, preparing distribution schedules, and generating reports for key stakeholders.
• Generate periodical and ad hoc reports for key stakeholders
• Support monthly carried interest committee meetings
• Assist with board pack presentations for carry committee
• Contribute to team’s ongoing push towards automation and process improvement

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Carried Interest Analyst position is highly motivated, proactive, and intelligent.

• 3-5 years experience in a similar role
• Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English
• Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills alongside Word & Outlook
• Experience in analysing data and presenting clear, concise summaries preferable
• Knowledge of Anaplan preferable
