Qualifications    

• Matric Certificate.
• Computer Literacy
• Math Literacy

Knowledge, Skills and Experience    

• Experience in Supervising a Team and as a Cashier and Admin
• The ability to work diligently, responsibly, effectively and unsupervised
• The ability to interact smoothly with the Line-Manager and other staff in the Department
• Competency in reading, writing and understanding English
• The ability to maintain an organized workflow
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivation and the ability to take initiative and be proactive
• Good time-management skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A mature and professional attitude
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in good writing

Key Responsibilities    

• Daily auditing and checking of the Cash Ups Masterfile Recon.
• Assisting the clerks with investigating differences and queries on the Recon.
• Allocating discrepancies to the correct reason codes.
• Checking accuracy and completeness of Recon at end of day and that matched entries balances to zero.
• Filing and saving of Cash Ups documents and ensuring the team keep filing up to date.
• Reporting discrepancies in time and accurately.
• Reporting stores’ failure to bank, bank shortages and missed CIT pick ups.
• Reaching given deadlines on time.
