Catering Manager (Talent Pool) at IFS International Facilities Services

Key responsibilites include:
1) Catering Management - manage the kitchen and dining room operations, food prep and serving, liaise with chefs, cooks and kitchen staff, monitor and oversee food quality. 
2) Client Liaison - engage with clients to assess satisfaction and resolve complaints. 
3) Health and Safety compliance - comply with all HSE requriements, ensure hygiene standards are maintained, ensure effective housekeeping.
4) Stock control - issue stock to kitchen staff, ensure all stock ordered is in correct quantities, monitor food prep and portion sizes, balance stock sheet and servings daily, maintain inventory. 
5) Staff management - implement SOP's, conduct meetings with staff, manage performance, manage rosters, time keeping, leave and attendance.

• Must be able to work on remote sites (Mozambique/DRC/Zambia/Lesotho/Namibia/Uganda) for extended periods of time.
• Must be passionate about food and service
• Food service management diploma or similar qualification
• Three years catering experience of which one is at supervisory or management level
• Preference is given to SA expats.
