    TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST – Change Management specialist

    Position Purpose

    • To support the COLT and GSAM projects in SA by assisting with new implementations, promoting the use of all applications, and ensuring the adoption of the tools across the country.
    • To work with all stakeholders in Serialsation /Digitisation projects and co-ordinate activities within the supply chain to implement and monitor RAD devices.
    • To develop appropriate training materials in collaboration with the Ops/Ops Admin Teams thereby ensuring efficiencies in the yard and administrative processes. To provide ongoing support, training, and document controls for the COLT and RAD processes.
    • To report on the use and performance of the hardware and software and assist the team in troubleshooting any problems as well as report on the information derived from the applications,
    • To manage the hardware used in the projects, the inventory of spares and plan for hardware replacements.
    • To support the development teams by coordinating testing for bug-fixes and enhancements and sharing ideas for improvements.

    Responsibilities

    •  Primary focus is to drive the implementation of the COLT/Digitisation Programmes across the SA Service Centres
    •  Support the adoption of CMA (Carrier Mobile Application) across SA
    •  Work alongside the Sales/Asset Management Teams to drive myCHEP compliance
    •  Develop and lead the change management and communication plan for COLT/Digitisation activities
    •  Communicate with the IT team and facilitate resolution on Service Centre and Haulier (Carrier) issues
    •  Communicate with Marketing to ensure the appropriate communications are delivered at the right times
    •  Develop, create and deploy training materials, troubleshooting guides and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the transition to COLT systems, based on Global standards
    •  Be involved with the support teams for the daily issues being faced by the Service Centres and Hauliers deploying COLT, CMA and RAD and the resolution of those issues
    •  Evaluate support requests raised by Customer Carriers, Service Centre Staff and Other Teams related to COLT and direct them to the appropriate system or person for resolution
    •  Manage the multi-channel systems for Carriers, Service Centres and other teams to raise problems: Teams, e-mail, phone, ServiceNow
    •  Stakeholder, Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) analysis to ensure customer satisfaction
    •  Obtain and provide data and insights to the implementation teams in support of the COLT/Digitisation programmes
    •  Monitor systems usage for fluctuations and provide useful insights to help resolve issues
    •  Proactive communications to Customer Carriers or Service Centres when usage appears to be a problem
    •  Proactive communications to COLT users when there are updates or changes to the systems
    •  Track the issues raised and escalate when problems linger
    •  Support in systems testing when there are bug fixes or new functionality releases
    •  Manage hardware including new Tablets and Configuration thereof, Tablet Accessories, Forklift Mounts, Kiosks and Printers, Portals and Scanners
    •  Plan for hardware replacements for CAPEX budgets
    •  Maintain the Spares inventory

    Skills and Knowledge

    •  Strong interpersonal, presentational, and networking skills
    •  Strong analytical and technical skills – including negotiating, risk mitigation and problem resolution
    •  Team player but able to work autonomously
    •  Able to create multi modal training materials
    •  Able to manage and maintain documentation in line with global standards
    •  Experience with logistics and supply chain industries
    •  Experience with working on multi stakeholder projects
    •  Experience with working closely with CHEP IT
