Chef - Healthwise at Tsebo Solution

• Are you passionate about creating nutritious, high-quality meals that support patient recovery and wellbeing? We are looking for a dedicated Chef to join our kitchen team and help us deliver exceptional care through food.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Prepare and cook meals that meet medical, nutritional, and cultural requirements
• Follow prescribed dietary guidelines for patients with special needs (e.g., diabetic, renal, soft diets)
• Ensure consistent portion control, presentation, and food safety standards
• Collaborate with dietitians and healthcare staff to meet patient needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen environment
• Support bulk meal preparation for patients, staff, and visitors

Skills and Competencies    

• Experience as a Chef or Cook in a healthcare, hospitality, or high-volume kitchen environment
• Knowledge of special diets, allergens, and food safety regulations
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail
• Commitment to hygiene, sanitation, and patient wellbeing

Qualifications    

• Must have completed a National Senior Certificate
• NQF qualifications in hospitality
