Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):

• B Degree/B Tech in Business Management/Commerce/Engineering/Sciences at NQF7 with 360 credits             

Related Minimum Experience:

• 7 years’ Industry related experience in energy related analytics with a successful track record of business intelligence, tools and analysis in the energy industry

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct modelling and analysis to support the organisation’s medium-to long-term investment and trading strategies.
• Provide medium- and long-term energy planning capability.
• Perform operational, economic and financial analysis.
• Conduct research on energy planning methods, develop new techniques and  adapt appropriate methods and techniques.
• Maintain existing and new models based on specific model requirements and changed assumptions.
• Assess developments in the energy sector.
• Synthesize analysis findings and implications for the organisation to develop valuable insights and strategic recommendations to support the function.
