Chief Electrical Engineering Technician at Drakenstein Municipality

JOB PURPOSE:

• To assist the Manager: Planning and Customer Services with professional electrical engineering duties pertaining to the Planning and Costing of new projects and operations within the electricity department.

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:

• B-Tech Degree or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering (NQF Level 7)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Code B Drivers License
• Computer Literacy (Word, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Aro View-GIS, Auto CAD, Solar, MS Suite and Memo Manager.
• Fluent in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
• Human Relations and communication skills
• High level of responsibility
• Ability to work under pressure without tolerance for errors
