Furthermore, perform command and control management functions as the Fire Department Safety Officer.

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:

• Grade 12
• SAESI Diploma in Fire Service Technology or IFE diploma in Fire Engineering Science; or and equivalent higher service-related qualifications (NQF Level 6)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Valid Level 3 First Aid qualifications
• Fire Service Instructor 1 (NFPA 1041)

JOB PURPOSE:
