Operation Strategy

• Develop & implement business unit plans to ensure manufacturing, productivity & customer service objectives of the CMFO role are met. 
• Maximize production capabilities to achieve customer satisfaction while attaining & managing the operating cost and goals. 
• Work closely with Distribution and Commercial to ensure systematic and strategic coordination of all Supply Chain business functions in order to ensure the continuous improvement of long term performance, of both the supply chain and the value chain as a whole. 
• Manage the Manufacturing aspects of operational execution including flow of materials, production and all supporting operations. 
• Strong focus on execution, efficiency and added value for both internal and external customers. 
• Ensures the effective management and maintenance of all manufacturing assets in terms of productivity, and cost.  
• Leads the implementation and management of Supply Chain / Raw Materials Procurement for the Group.  
• Identify and develop relevant enablers to support the delivery of each plants business unit plans and budgets. 
• Ensure an engaged, productive and capable workforce aligned to deliver the strategic and operational business objectives of Twizza.  

Leadership

• Provides leadership and guidance to the Manufacturing teams.  
• Oversees and manages Production, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance departments. 
• Evaluate the results of business opportunities and retention, and report these to the executive leadership team. 
• Deliver strategic leadership for defining the commercial path to growth and profitability of the company and the establishment of an effective growth process and infrastructure. 
• Develop collaborative working relationships within the organisation in pursuit of the company’s overall business goals. 
• Keep management advised of trends affecting the Company’s competitive status and impacts to revenue. 
• Actively support the Company’s mission and vision and demonstrate values consistently. 
• Cultivate a culture of hard work and thriving. 
• Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures 
• Establish policies that promote company culture and vision 
• Supports HR to ensure that the Talent pipeline is maintained. 

Business and Organisational Development

• Develop and manage the relationships with relevant Local Communities and Interest forum departments. 
• Develop a strategy and provide leadership for enterprise-wide business development opportunities. 
• Originate and manage business development opportunities that are consistent with the company’s strategy for revenue and profitability growth. 
• Develop and design strategies. 
• Driving performance measures for the operation (including a consideration of efficiency versus effectiveness), often in the form of dashboards convenient for review of high level key indicators 
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth 
• Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance 
• Manage relationships with partners/vendors 

Planning

• Planning by prioritizing customer, employee, and organizational requirements 
• Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures 
• Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics 

Finance Management

• Ensure productivity and budgeting objectives are monitored & controlled on a continuous basis. 
• Manage the execution of the CAPEX process & budget within each plant. 
• Develop operations costing prospects. 
• Develop strategic direction and plans with regards to operation functions including business development and budget follow-up. 
• Contribute to annual and longer term budgets for revenue and investments. 
• Contribute to business strategy including, but to lesser extent, communication plan. 
• Develop initiatives to achieve quality, safety, product availability, efficiency, quality, and financial Key Business Indicators. 

Health, Safety & Quality  

• Lead and Manage the development of a Health and Safety culture for all employees within the plants. 
• Leads the Risk Management and Business Governance processes within the plants. 

Minimum requirements

• Grade 12 with mathematics and science or equivalent qualification 
• Code 08 (B) driver’s license
• Bachelor’s degree is essential
• MBA will be an added advantage
• A minimum of Five years’ experience in Production environment.
