    Chief Marketing Officer

    Role Overview

    • Hello Group is looking for a hands-on, high-impact CMO to lead and operate a fast-paced, in-house marketing function that runs like an internal agency.
    • This is not a purely strategic role. We are looking for a commercially driven operator who can manage complexity, multiple stakeholders, and multiple business units while driving measurable revenue growth.

    Duties and Responsibilities    
    Key Responsibilities

    Revenue & Growth

    • Own and drive revenue growth across all business units
    • Align marketing directly to business objectives, sales, and profitability
    • Identify and execute on new growth opportunities

    Full-Stack Marketing Leadership

    Oversee and integrate all marketing functions:

    • Campaigns (strategy + execution)
    • Performance marketing & media planning
    • CRM & lifecycle marketing (retention, upsell, cross-sell)
    • Content & social
    • PR & communications
    • Events, activations & info centres

    CRM, Media & Data-Driven Marketing

    • Lead end-to-end CRM strategy and implementation
    • Build segmented, personalised customer journeys
    • Strong understanding of media strategy, planning, and optimisation (digital & offline)
    • Track, analyse, and optimise performance across the funnel
    • Ensure all activity is data-led and ROI-focused

    Execution & Operations

    • Own delivery of multi-channel campaigns from concept to execution
    • Manage marketing as an internal agency (processes, workflows, timelines)
    • Oversee collateral production, warehouse management, and distribution
    • Ensure speed, quality, and consistency across all outputs

    PR, Events & Brand Experience

    • Drive PR strategy, media relations, and brand reputation
    • Lead events, activations, and on-the-ground experiences
    • Ensure all physical and brand touchpoints drive engagement and sales

    Creative & Innovation

    • Lead and contribute to creative ideas and campaign concepts
    • Ensure all output is on-brand, differentiated, and commercially effective

    Stakeholder Management

    • Manage and align multiple internal stakeholders across business units
    • Act as the central marketing partner to leadership
    • Balance competing priorities and push back when needed based on impact

    Team Leadership

    • Lead a multi-disciplinary marketing team
    • Be a hands-on leader, able to dive into detail
    • Build a culture of accountability, performance, and execution excellence

    Minimum Requirements    
    Requirements

    • 10+ years’ experience in senior marketing leadership roles
    • Proven track record of driving revenue through marketing
    • Strong experience across CRM, media, campaigns, PR, and events
    • Deep understanding of media strategy, planning, and performance optimisation
    • Strong commercial and financial acumen
    • Experience in complex, multi-business or high-growth environments
    • Strong operator mindset – comfortable in both strategy and execution
    • Excellent stakeholder management and prioritisation skills
