Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Maintain and enforce Survey boundaries (Prospecting right, Mining rights, Servitudes); Legal Compliance (MHSA) and update Rehabilitation and Land Disturbance plans;
• Audit and update prescribed plans and Survey network;
• Coordinate the annual Aerial Survey for updating Survey Plans;
• Oversee Tactical Stockpile management (Stockpile layouts, contamination, etc.);
• Conduct stockpile audits (yearly);
• Manage Land inventory (Farms, leases, royalties and land use agreements);
• Represent the company at Public Forums (Neighbouring mines, communities, etc.);
• Sign-off and submit prescribed plans (yearly);
• Provide oversight and support to Production and Ore Accounting Surveying.

ABOUT YOU:

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a mining environment;
• In depth knowledge and understanding of relevant Health, Safety and Environment legislation;
• In depth knowledge and understanding of geology related to mining;
• In depth knowledge and understanding of the principles of Mineral Resources and Ore Reserve Management;
• In depth knowledge and understanding of different activities related to survey field work;
• In depth understanding of different activities related to Survey Data Management;
• In depth understanding of different coordinate systems (Clarke 1880, WGS 84, etc.).

Qualifications for this role are:

• Degree/BTECH/National Diploma in Mineral Resource Management or Surveying;
• Survey Government Certificate of Competency (GCC);
