Chief Technician: Smart Radiosensors (Hay Level 16/D1) at NECSA

Key Performance Areas:

Technical Services and Support

• Supervise technical and support services.
• Implement and assemble enhanced systems independently.
• Investigate and present solutions to non-routine technical problems.

Design and Development

• Lead and complete the design of systems, independently and while leading a technical team.
• Contribute to feasibility studies of a fundamental project within specifications.

Human Capital Development

• Provide coaching and training to individuals/small technical team.
• Guide the development of technical skills of individuals in the field of competence.

SHEQ and Other Audits

• Actively utilize the Necsa Business Process Management System.
• Integrate all activities and systems to comply with SHEQ requirements.

Financial Management

• Responsible for the successful and cost-effective execution of specific tasks relevant to a project.
• Assist with the costing of technical items to be used in the budgeting of projects.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• National Diploma in Instrumentation or equivalent.
• 6 – 7 years’ relevant work experience in Instrumentation and Electrical of which 3 years must be in a supervisory role.
