    Civil Engineer (Water)

    A wellestablished engineering consulting firm is seeking to employ a Civil Engineer (Water) to be based at their Gauteng offices.

    •  Must have a BEng/ BSc in Civil Engineering
    •  4 6 years’ experience in the consulting industry
    •  Must have experience working with the following software: GoldSim, PCSWMM, UPFLOOD, HECRAS, WRSM2005, Flo2D, QGIS/ArcGIS, Modelmaker.
    •  Must be able to carry out hydrological analyses: Acquisition and processing of hydrological data (rainfall, runoff, evaporation), Hydrological parameters e.g., MAP, MAE, MAR, Catchment delineation, Flood peak runoff calculations, Water balance analysis and modelling, Reservoir and canal routing, Floodline determination, Floodline determination and Flood risk and flood hazard assessment etc
    •  Must be able to carry out hydraulic analyses and designs such as hydraulic analyses and designs, Flood attenuation, Canal flow etc
