Civil Engineering II- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal at AECOM

Job Summary

AECOM invites suitable candidates with experience in water supply pipe network design and modelling. The work will further include the following activities:

• Development and approval of regional mains rehabilitation and lead programmes;
• Prioritisation of project wish lists from workshops based on pre-set criteria;
• Close liaison with operational-, capital- and regional delivery teams;
• Tagging and handover of programmes to delivery project management office teams;
• Cost estimation of all approved works (design & construction);
• Development of national infrastructure upgrading plans - 15 to 20 growth area plans per year
• Development of investment schedules
• Assistance in preparation of technical drawings (GIS Mapping)

Minimum Requirements

• 3 – 7 years’ relevant professional experience.
• General civil engineering/ municipal engineering design experience - essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or equivalent) – essential.
