Civil Technologist (Pr Tech Eng) - Consulting Industry
RPO Recruitment's client, a leading consulting engineering firm in Pretoria is seeking a professionally registered Civil Engineering Technologist to join their dynamic Water Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to contribute to impactful water infrastructure projects within a reputable consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
Preparation of technical reports, designs, drawings, and specifications
Perform hydraulic calculations and modelling for water-related projects
Assist with contract administration and site supervision where required
Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
Ensure compliance with relevant standards, guidelines, and regulations
Support project delivery from concept through to completion
Requirements:
BTech/BEng Tech in Civil Engineering
Professionally registered with ECSA as a Pr Tech Eng
Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience in the civil engineering water sector
Experience in water and wastewater infrastructure (pipelines, pump stations, treatment works, etc.)
Proficiency in relevant design software and MS Office
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
