Description
- Ensure that all administrative functions relating to claims are processed in a timeous and correct manner.
Requirements

REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- FAIS accreditation (Level RE 5)
- Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) recognised qualification
- 5 years in the short-term insurance industry
- Excellent English and Afrikaans communication skills
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Managing the centralized claims division.
- Obtain claim forms and relevant documentation and information from clients.
- Registering of new claims within 24 hours.Daily processing, tracking, recording and ensuring timely settlement of claims.
- Daily capturing, updating and storing of claims on the Cardinal administration system.
- Daily feedback to client(s) and relationship managers and/or relationship manager assistants on claims progress.
- Assist with Underwriting functions when requested.
- Operate within the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) and FAIS regulations.
- Report all customer complaints to Head Office daily.
- Reporting to and liaising on claims with the direct manager, various Relationship Managers and Relationship Manager assistants.
