Cleaner at Inspired Education

ROLE SUMMARY:

• We are seeking a hard-working and dedicated School Cleaner to work in our friendly school. You will work as part as a team, undertaking various cleaning duties throughout the school to ensure our children’s learning environment is always clean.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types
• Cleaning a variety of rooms and areas across the campus
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture
• Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures
• Emptying trash cans, washing, and cleaning windows
• Liaising with the line manager regarding stock of cleaning products and equipment
• Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process
• Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done
• General support for functions and events on campus if needed
• Holidays - Follow Holiday Cleaning Duty List.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Fluency in English language is essential.
• Refrain from divulging confidential information relating to the School, Staff, or its students to any unauthorised person at any time.
• Maintain professional boundaries with staff, parents, and children alike, and always be professional in one’s conduct.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Appropriate right to work is a requirement.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• Good time management skills
• Good interpersonal skills and strong team orientation
• A positive attitude to change.
