Cleaner (Post Level 18) at University of the Free State

Duties and responsibilities:

• Clean buildings, equipment, and workspaces in accordance to standard procedures and specifications
• Maintain and inspect equipment.
• Adhere to daily program/schedule and follow procedures and protocol.
• Follow ad hoc instructions given by line management.
• Report to and communicate with Team Leader.
• Comply with health and safety standards.

Inherent Job Requirements:

• Grade 10 on NQF Level 2.
• Relevant experience related to the duties and responsibilities.

Recommendations:

• Minimum one (1) year applicable work experience in general cleaning, operating cleaning materials, and knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
