Clerk Stock Controller at PepsiCo

Overview

• Responsible for managing maintenance inventory, spare parts, tools, and consumables to ensure maintenance teams have the resources required to carry out repairs and preventive maintenance activities efficiently. 

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and issue maintenance spare parts, tools, and consumables.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
• Monitor stock usage and reorder critical items when required.
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits.
• Ensure proper storage and housekeeping within the maintenance store.
• Track and record the movement of parts and equipment.
• Raise purchase requisitions for stock replenishment.
• Liaise with suppliers and procurement teams regarding orders and deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and inventory control procedures.
• Prepare inventory and stock usage reports for management.
• Support maintenance planning by ensuring required parts are available for scheduled work.

Qualifications

• Matric certificate
• Experience in stock counts & balancing
• Strong numerical skills
• SAP experience
• Plant maintenance scheduling reporting
