    Welder

    Overview

    • The main purpose is primarily to ensure that all plant equipment is functioning or operating at high levels of reliability and are maintained periodically as scheduled and all breakdowns are resolved soonest in order to ensure maximum plant availability as well as ensuring that the factory meets its key KPIs which include but are not limited to volume and quality compliance, costs and downtime reduction.

    Responsibilities

    • Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a Welding Procedure Specification.
    • Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements.
    • Ability to on all types of welding inclusive of MIG and TIG weld for steel, aluminum, mild and stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings.
    • Welds precision or close tolerance parts and assemblies
    • Reworks and repairs parts and assemblies.
    • Maintains welds on various items using a variety of welding processes and positions.
    • Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.

    Responsibilities

    • Single point of accountability for the condition and performance of all mechanical equipment and infrastructure on the Krugersdorp Mill site
    • Serves as a lead mechanical on repairing, installing, replacing and testing mechanical, equipment and applications
    • Siagnoses and performs complex mechanical maintenance and repairs on a variety of mechanical (process, packing, palletising and compressors and dryers)
    • Supports the site Utilities maintenance team with mechanical work
    • Serforms mechanical preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on a variety of mechanical equipment
    • Srovides troubleshooting and demand maintenance work on variety of equipment and systems along with other equipment related to production and facility operations
    • Collaborates and coaches shift apprentice to troubleshoot analog/ digital hardware problems on various systems

    • Thorough knowledge of GEHMS and accepted occupational safety and health practices and principles to include safety and equipment design regulations

    Operations Manager

    Overview

    • Co-ordinates the activities of the bakery in order to meet the Plant performance, Quality, EHS, Sustainability and Service standards required. Ensures the efficient use of manpower equipment, and materials.

    The key performance areas are:

    Overview

    Overview

    • Monitoring of Variable Trade Allowance Spend
    • Responsible to capture all Variable Trading Term agreements in SAP to ensure accurate provisions
    • Responsible to calculate all rebate payments and rebate claim deductions in accordance with valid trading terms
