Overview

• Monitoring of Variable Trade Allowance Spend
• Responsible to capture all Variable Trading Term agreements in SAP to ensure accurate provisions
• Responsible to calculate all rebate payments and rebate claim deductions in accordance with valid trading terms
• Process all rebate settlements for payment for approval & release by Trade Allowance Controller
• Compile monthly Rebate Recon for BU of responsibility for approval by Controller
• Handle Customer Variable Trade Allowance queries
• The trading term percentages determine the variable rebate accrual and this requires tremendous accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to create Rebate, Distribution & Growth agreements in SAP
• Compile Trade Agreement Summary
• Validate customer rebate deduction claims received from AR against trading terms
• Responsible to calculate all rebate settlements for payment
• Process all rebate settlements for payment for approval & release by Trade Allowance Controller
• Handle Customer Variable Trade Allowance queries
• Investigate and provide comments on monthly Rebate Recon discrepancies identified and execute corrective action
• Comply to Standard Operating Procedures, Service Level Agreements and policies
• Internal, External and SARS audits > Accountable & Executing Actions
• Park journals for FIFO & Variable Trade Allowance adjustments

Qualifications

• Qualification – Grade 12. Tertiary qualification would be advantegeous
• Commercial and Financial Acumen within an FMCG environment with at least 2 years experience
