Matric certificate or NQF level 4 qualification and computer literacy certificate coupled with 18-months experience in hospital help desk environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team and under pressure in a changing environment and shifts. The incumbent should have good telephone etiquette and be fluent in English and other languages or multilingual. The incumbent should be able to apply Batho Pele Principles and be able to handle confidential information.
Duties :
The successful candidate will be expected to update and write doctors call roster daily, handle calls, answer telephone calls, transfer calls to the appropriate extensions, make calls on behalf of staff and keep records and take messages.
Answer general enquiries from internal and external users. Report telephone faults to the supervisor. See to it that the Switchboard apparatus is handles properly to pass messages to the hospital community through the SMS platform.
