Requirements :
Grade 12 with Basic R425 qualification i.e. Diploma / Degree in Nursing that allows registration with SANC.
A minimum of 7 years appropriate experience in Nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse. Current registration with SANC. A valid driver`s license and computer literacy is essential. Experience in HAST programme management. NIMART trained /certificate. NIMDR and APC will be an advantage. Skills (Interpersonal, good communication and report writing).
Duties :
Coordinate implementation of differentiated service delivery (DSD) models, TB preventive therapy (TPT), HIV prevention interventions, sexually transmitted infection management, antiretroviral treatment (ART), tuberculosis diagnosis and treatment, adherence support, viral load monitoring, contact tracing and linkage to care in line with national guidelines Implementation of the HAST strategic plan in line with the 95 95 95 HIV and TB strategy.
Ensure the provision of quality HIV, STI and TB services through the implementation of relevant clinical guidelines, policies, protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including regular supervision, mentoring and monitoring of service delivery Provide technical support to health facilities and advocate for the functional integration of HAST programmes into Primary Health Care. Participate in the development of the annual HAST business plan, operational plan and performance plan documents.
Coordinate all relevant key partners and other stakeholders supporting the integrated HAST programme. Compile monthly, quarterly, and progress reports and implement integrated health information system for HAST (DHIS / Tier.net and EDRweb. Attend internal and external meetings and workshops.
Conducting quarterly reviews for performance monitoring at Sub District level. Manage human, financial and physical resources for HAST at sub district. Report writing and presentation at Sub District and District level.
Conduct regular clinical audits, programme reviews, data quality assessments, file audits and mortality reviews to improve the quality of HIV, STI and TB clinical services. Coordinate, facilitate and support capacity building, in-service training, clinical mentoring and continuous professional development for healthcare workers involved in HIV, STI and TB services.
