Clinical Psychologist [Grade 1 - 3] Dilokong Hospital at Limpopo Department of Health

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications and Competencies

• An appropriate qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as Psychologist.
• Current registration with the Health Professions Council [HPCSA] as a Psychologist.
• Experience for Grade 1: None after registration with the HPCSA.
• Experience for Grade 2: A minimum of 8 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as a Clinical Psychologist.
• Experience for Grade 3: Minimum of 16 years after registration with the HPCSA as a Clinical Psychologist.
• Computer literacy including MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Virtual meeting platforms literacy,
• Inherent requirements: Valid driver's license.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Provide psychological service delivery at hospital level.
• Participate in hospital teams/committees.
• Support hospital activities related to mental health.
• Supervise work of the psychometrists in the hospital.
• Implement community outreach programmes.
• Liaise and work with other hospital departments.
• Liaise with psychiatric services in the hospital.
• Assist in training for primary health care professionals.
